Full Custom Fabrication seat brackets.

To start, I'm 6'1".
I've had trucks from this era for 15 years. If there's one thing I didn't like with these versus square bodies was the seating position. I like to sit low with the wheel close to me. With the 67-72 trucks, I feel like I'm sitting too high.
It wasn't till I saw a thread about seat foam last week that they make brackets that lower the seat 2". Researched some videos on youtube and said I gotta get these!
I wound up getting the FCF version and I couldn't be happier. Easy install (having a flex-head gear wrench is a must).
My wife thinks I look like a little kid now sitting so low, but it's sooooo comfortable.

Looks like you are sitting about right. I am a short guy so I like mine a little higher. Going up is easier because you only have to add a layer of stiffer foam.

I am 6' even. When I lowered the seat, it put my legs closer to the pedals and made it hard to use the gas and brake. Don't you have that issue? I had to raise the seat up a bit to give me leg room.

I don't mind if my legs are scrunched up a little, as long as the steering wheel is close to me.
