Found this 78 Astro 95 with an 8 speed with overdrive for sale about an hour and a half Southwest of where I am, if only I had $8,500 bucks. 😫 I've always wanted me one of those.

Nice truck. Are you sure it has an 8V-92 and not a 6V-92? I ask as the truck has an 8 speed transmission, which was often used with the 6V-92. It also has a single stack.

If I had $6500 I'd be on my way to Kansas asap lol and I totally agree there's nothing cooler than a GMC Astro 95 with a 8v92. Unfortunately, it seems like you see more of them with the Cummins.
