3 on tree shift linkage bushings search

1969 C10 step side. I'm looking for the shift bushings where they connect down by the transmission. Without removing them to match up to pictures, all my searches on the many parts sites seem to show different. Does anyone have good pictures of the bushings, or part numbers so I can order with confidence?

I bought those from my local gm dealer about ten years ago. I bought a few extras and gave them to a guy on this site. Hopefully someone else has a few extras lying around. When I installed them it made an incredible difference in shifting. Good luck !

data69, if LockDoc is unable to assist or supply you with the requested parts, we have added both the upper and lower GM NOS shift linkage grommets to our below linked long running steering column parts board f/s thread in post reply #70, we have given you first option/right of refusal (**Edit 01-31-25** Disregard/We never heard back from data69 on offer) on the diagram #2/GM NOS lower control rod to 3 spd. manual transmission shift lever grommets due to having a limited quantity on hand. Have a look and confirm in thread if interested. Mel :chevy:

GM NOS Upper control rod to column (auto & man.) shift tube grommets, item #1 on below parts diagram.

***If needed, add a matching GM NOS inner steel shift bushing to the above shift tube grommet***

GM NOS Lower control rod to 3 spd. manual trans shift lever grommets, item #2 on below parts diagram

Okay, thanks...I'll crawl under and take another look to see if these could be what it takes, (cold in the shop now, but hopefully tomorrow). It was 10 below and takes awhile for the stove to heat it up.

Ha, it is really cold up north there! I'm in Beloit so its much warmer only -9f last night, pretty warm right now at 21f. Almost shorts and a tee shirt weather!

I've been working on my timing and overheating problem. Hence the delay...also only about 38 degrees in my garage...stove problem too. Plus at 80 years old and back problems I tend to function slower.

I have such a sloppy shift operation I assume it is the bushings. But is that all I need, and are the bushings for the upper and lower shift rods the same? And, do I need to replace something in the column at the shift lever?

Those are the exact bushings I used and they made the shifting like new again.
