1989 v2500 fender emblem
Hello all,
Painting my burb and never had the fender emblems, it is a silverado, (on the dash) but looking at all the vendors, K20 is the only thing close and that is listed for an 88 Any ideas? Chris |

Yes -
Pretend it's an '86 and shop for those emblems. Actually - '88 would work as long as it's R/V rather than GMT400. Pickup is also the same as Suburban if you can broaden your search. K |

I just found the same thing on Ebay,,
Was it silverado 20 from the factory in the 88-91 era of burbs and (30)duallys? I think yes,,, cruising some truck adds for sale |

Didn't the fender emblem go away in '89? I found this in a 1989 brochure on EBay- just the lower door trim has the 1500 emblem (or in the OP's case 2500) is present. The trim (Silverado) is a rectangle emblem adhered between the rear window and rear passenger doors.

I don't know,,, I am prepping for paint and have 2 holes on the driver fender right where an emblem should go, I went back and found a older pic of my truck and there are none. But sanding has exposed where they should go. The white is not the original,, someone may have filled t hem years ago? |
Re: 1989 v2500 fender emblem
My guess is the fenders are not original to the truck.
Somebody probably retrofit earlier fenders and had to fill the holes. K |
Re: 1989 v2500 fender emblem
Unless you really want them I'd refill and paint.
