Restore back to stock or lifted height

Most of the trucks I am looking at have been lowered as the street rod look that is popular with these years. What does it generally take to bring them back to stock height or even a 2 inch lift. New springs, shocks, A-arms, shackles and is there a recommended kit.

My 2.5 Gen Tundra dront level was pretty easy with billstein adjustable kit and a spring compressor.

It can depend on how the drop was accomplished. If it was done with lowering springs you just need to replace the springs and shocks. Typically lowered trucks use different shocks due to the new location of the suspension with relation to the chassis, sometimes shock mount relocation brackets are used in the rear. Sometimes an adjustable panhard rod is required in the rear, depends on the amount of drop done in the rear (assuming you have a coil spring rear).

Sometimes the drop is accomplished with modified control arms and/or drop spindles. You mentioned shackles so perhaps you have a leaf spring rear? If so, a drop in the rear could have been done with different leaf springs or leaf springs with some leaves removed or it could have been done with a spring flip (placing the spring mount under the axle instead of on top of it.

To really answer your questions though, we would need to know if you have a leaf or coil spring rear and would need to know how it was lowered in the first place.
