OT: What wires to add for future radio.

I'm working on an old 4 door project car and do not want to buy a radio and install the speakers at this time, but the seats are out and the carpet is loose.

If I need to run 2 6x9 to the back, what wires should I run for future use?

Mods, the audio forum appears fairly dead, if you want this somewhere else, go for it.

For a basic 40 watt setup 2 runs of 14 AWG pairs would be fine. But for more information see the link below.

Taking into account the info provided in the link by HO455, you could also run 4-conductor wire from the front of the car to the back. Relatively inexpensive, keeps the 4 wires organized and protected by the enclosing insulation.

Perfect, I appreciate the simple advice, that's something my non-audiophile-self can follow.
