Does anyone have a pattern for a seat cover or a link?

My wife is quite a seamstress and does alterations, sews some of my hunting clothes, made her own wedding dress and does quilting too and she offered to make a custom seat cover for me. I am thinking I would like it with a combination of Carhart material and denim. I might have some of my old jeans used and put the rear pockets in the center of the seat back. I also want this because in the summer I dont think I will be able to sit on the vinyl seat.

I am wondering if there is a pattern somewhere for this or a factory cover that has been removed. We could take the seat out and the existing cover off to copy

I think I saw on your glovebox spid it said your truck originally had the Highlander option with Avocado seats. I couldn't tell in the pics if was still in there. Here is a link to a lot of Highlander threads ... and a pic of the materials offered. Yours would be the bottom left avocado, that would be a good look for your truck and you wouldn't be sitting on vinyl.

Your truck seat came from the factory looking like this.
This is the company for the correct Highlander seat material:

Thank you, I am in amazement at the cost of that just for a cover!

I need one like this that is plain and worn out and maybe $100 so my wife can rip it apart to make a a pattern. She would rip the seams out of it and pattern each piece.

Don’t have an old seat skin but AMC did a Levi’s edition . Was pretty durable and easy to clean

Not to shock you with the pricing for these, but they have gone up to the price point of being out of control.
Probably best option to put a WTB post for some used avocado tartan material

I dont want to buy a factory one I am looking for a old skin or actual sewing pattern and my wife will make me a custom one with any color, fabric or imitation I want for about 1/16 the price.

Can you remove what is on your seat and hand to the wife to use as a pattern? What is commonly called "seat cover" is seat upholstery that is installed in place of the original upholstery. I know it sounds weird because you may have been expecting that a seat cover is something that covers up your original upholstery. There is such thing as a seat cover that covers up the original upholstery but it is not as nice.

You are thinking of making what is my dream cover. I thought of making a random patchwork quilt with all parts of different shades of old blue jeans, do the stitching in that double stitch gold thread pattern that is common on the inseam of the blue jeans, and include pockets and zippers and beltloops all over the place, and put some boxer short plaid fabric under the zippers in case one gets unzipped open by a curious person. Ask your wife to make me one, too, pretty please!
