Wondering if my seatbelt brackets are mounted on the wrong side?

It you look at the picture, the lap portion of the belt is connected to the bracket pointing towards the back of the seat. Seems backwards to my eye, like this bracket is supposed to be on the passenger side? Maybe I just need to flip the part of the bracket that goes to the lap belt?

OK nevermind I got my wrenches out and loosened it up and repositioned it so the retractor is vertical. Working great now.

Your eye was correct. ;)
Yes, the retractor belt should point straight up with the lap belt angled forward.
This is how I installed my 3-way belts.

Thank you very much for the response and photo. I had a heck of a time trying to find useful info online. All the pictures have the bracket cropped out and all the video DIYs I found skipped that part:lol:
