Radio woes...
My 1970 GM "AM" push button radio is just that.... an AM radio. I know there's a popular Mopar guy that rebuilds vintage Chrysler radios adding FM, Bluetooth, MP3, more powerful amps, speakers etc.... all while maintaining the original look, w/ functioning original knobs and such....
So, is there also such a guy that rebuilds/revamps our old C-10's AM radios to provide modern entertainment like FM or MP3 ....with a lil extra volume??? Thanks! -Lee https://imgur.com/a/D81Vosv |

Re: Radio woes...
I gutted a factory AM radio and installed an amazon bluetooth module in it for about $10.
It was pretty easy to do, the factory volume knob controls the on/off for the module and the volume. The tuning knob does nothing but it still moves the tuning needle (as do the push buttons, they're just for looks now) This is the module I used, looks like the price has gone up a bit in the last few months https://a.co/d/aeCnpV6 and I just connected the factory volume knob shaft to the shaft on the module with a coupler. I'll look for pictures but I lost a bunch of them recently. |
