Horn relay wiring problems

Hello all ,
Just got thru reading horn relay stuff in the search thing, lots of good info on the subject .
I need to source the missing horn relay and the 3 wire connector that has the red, green, and black wire on the connector. The PO just cut the wires and removed the horn relay from the firewall interior. Also cut the green wire and connector that plugs into the horn itself in the engine Compartment. So all I have is cut wires for most of my horn, horn relay wiring harness . Takes a real genius to cut those wires instead of just unplugging them. If anyone has these partial wiring harnesses, I'm in the market.
On another subject, just installed the LMC Heavy Duty Headlight Harness, makes a lot of difference when running headlights, now dash lights and dome light are so much brighter, and amp gage barely goes into - when lights are on , now I need halogen headlights!!
Need those bits of wiring g harnesses to fix the horn problems.
Thanks to all, Good luck on all your projects.!!!

Re: Horn relay wiring problems

Your first step is to go to the ELECTRICAL forum on this site and download the proper wiring diagram for your particular truck. Those diagrams indicate both insulation color and gauge of the circuit's wire. The various plastic insulator/terminal covers are available from PICO, along with bubble packaged wire. I get all mine from the local "Mom & Pop" auto parts store . Any well stocked parts store will have the horn relay.. Classic Industries, an online source, has the horn relay..

An added suggestion: Don't just crimp the connections.. Solder and shrink wrap them..

PM me your mailing address and I will send that stuff to you.

How much wire do you need on the plugs?
