When you get time and are bored, go to the sub-forum "Build Threads" link and click on my recently uploaded build thread for this truly amazing time capsule 1966 Custom Camper pickup I am resurrecting to daily driver use. My 16 yr old Son and I are going to be taking some Western roadys in this thing once I get it operational again, which should be in the coming weeks. I will be updating the build thread soon - today I just uploaded the "1st day" shots of bringing it home. I have a also time capsule condition insulated camper shell originally sold by GM dealers in the 64-66 years made by 'Highway Cruisers". GM made brochures promoting that brand. We will camp in the truck bed on our Western adventures to places like Rocky Mountain National park

Thanks Dave! I've watched and waited a lot of years to finally reel this one in so can't wait to be using it for what it was made to do - going camping with my Son some before he gets too old to hang with Dad and heads off to College

Looks similar to the factory picture in the 65 brochure

yes! I've actually never seen that 65 one you have, but they used the same color combo truck for the 66 brochure too
