Chevrolet 3.08 Differential w/ Brackets for 1950 GMC
 

Chevrolet 3.08 differential. I removed this from a (196? or 197?) Suburban around 1980-something, installed it in my 1950 GMC, and used it until last year. It has brackets to fit the 1950 springs. The gears look good, and it is quiet. I had a vibration problem that improved when I removed this, but I relocated my shock absorber mountings from vertical to around 45 degrees, so that could also have been the problem. I installed a differential with different gearing, so I no longer need this one.
