I found this connector on a bulb on the back of the instrument cluster, does anybody know what it is for? It is not connected to anything, it's just there.

I got an answer on another Board, here are the answers I got. I could't believe it at first but they are correct.

Yep. Note that is only found on trucks with a standard column. The tilt column has a bulb near the gear selection indicator with a separate wire to connect at fuse box. If a tilt has been retrofitted, that may be the reason it is abandoned.
