New bumper mounted

I was originally going to go with a sportier bumper but realized how much I actually use the bed and bumper. So I thought this was a best option. And looks better than the old one. So here's the old and new bumper mounted.
And why do my pictures keep coming up sideways? Ugh

.

Don't try that on a Windoze box. This is only for those of you running Linux variants which most of you aren't. While I'm unaware of a Windoze equivalent command line tool, there are other ways...my favorite of which is to use an image viewer, open the image, orient it correctly then save it back down to the same original file name...then upload it to this site.

Article describing various ways to do this on Windoze...

Bumper looks great and much more practical than the sport bumper.

Take the pictures with your fone sideways. Photography by default is longer width than height, which most all board and internet stuff is set up for. The auto rotate in phones and tablets will turn it and you won't know which way it was taken and stored. I alwasy edit mine on computer befor I up load also. Makes it easier to me, than the fone things.

Looks great! I might have to do this on my K10 stepside eventually. I have the sport bumper but I also plan on using it as a truck a lot.

I like the black bumper. Is that the one you're keeping?

--68isgreat: Stepside sefety bumpers are rare. Good luck on finding one.
Although if you have good skills with welders, cutting torches and grinders, you could cut a Fleetside step bumper down.

S10 bumpers work very well on stepside trucks

That's almost too easy. I never think of S/10s.
