2nd Row Rear Seat Bracket
 

I’m Looking for pictures and measurement for the 2nd row rear seat brackets placement. I have 49-50” seat with what I believe are the right brackets. 4 short bracket in the rear and 2 tall ones on the front corners.

I can’t figure out the placement spot for the off set seat. (Pushed closer to the left side)

Going back a bunch of years but, If I remember correctly there are plastic fillers in the metal part of the floor that have threads for the hold down clamps that hold the front corner brackets down. These bolt holes determine the placement of the seat.

Just went out and measured. The hole in the plywood closest to the third door is 4.25" back from front of metal edge and 20.25" from inside edge of paneling behind the third door. All the others should follow.
This makes the seat armrest jammed right up against the door panel on the drivers side. maybe only because i changed the interior to fancy 72 style door panels which sit out prouder. shouldn't make yours that tight as you have straight metal door panels

So I got the tape measure out again. Your measurements did not line up.

What does the bottom Bracket look like. (the one under the plywood) My bottom bracket run full length across.

My 1971 never had 2nd or 3rd row seats originally.
There wasn't that brace under the plywood, so 30 years ago I had to build my own.The 2nd row seat came from a 1969 so there might be some variation between years. If you've got that lower under plywood brace all your holes should be predetermined. Looks like the holes you've got are only 1/2 inche further back than mine.

I measured from the side off the third door. But my measurement came off the fancy side paneling. Your hole for that first bracket looks good. I just went and remeasured. The 3/4" difference is because of the side paneling. Sorry for confusion. With the bracket beneath the plywood. All your holes should be predetermined.

The bolt holes should line up with the square nuts on the bottom bracket. (Circled in green in the photo.) I'm not sure as to the use of the one I circled in purple.

The factory used the welded nuts so you wouldn't have to crawl near the truck to remove the seat and to save time on the assembly line. Although the latter reason was the important one for them.

My 67 had a separate bracket (on the left in the photo) which I believe was a one year thing but you can see the 4 nuts in a row for the seat on the right side, with two others on the left that I can't account for.

I'm not 100 percent sure but I believe there was a different lower plate for 2 row and 3 row Burbans. Maybe Richard2717 will chime in here with the answer to that.
