NP 203 ID question
1 Attachment(s)
I crawled under the truck today to see if I could get ID info on the transfer case. I know it’s a 203 but it doesn’t have a tag attached to it, but it does have a stamp that reads where the tag should be.
K 6 B02 Maybe they used a stamp instead of a tag? Anyone ever seen this way of dating a transfer case. I’m assuming the 6 is for 1976 and B02 is for Feb 2. It would fit, my truck was built Feb of 76. Thanks Scott |
Re: NP 203 ID question
Why do you need this? are you swapping cases or something. The only real difference is the input spline count of 10-27-32 and 1-2 year difference in the rear output housing when they first came out

Re: NP 203 ID question
Kw, not swapping anything. I just bought this truck and was curious to see how original it is so I started looking at part numbers.
