Rear shocks?

Looks like when reloacting shock to behind axle and trying to get best angle(none) the shock length is issue and since lower 2 unchest will be even more issue.

Suggestions, Uf possible one that work now and aftger lower 2". If can not use for bioth a decent shock that will fit mounted 90* on as close as possible.

Most shocks are sold with a compressed length and extended length. You just need to figure those out.

Re: Rear shocks?

Here's how we do it in the Jeep world:
1. Jack the truck up at the frame and let the rear axle droop as far down as it can before the trailing arms/springs stop it. Measure the "long" distance between your shock mounts.
2. Stuff the axle up into the frame as far as it can go by jacking up the rear axle with some weight in the bed until the axle can go up no further. Measure the "short" distance between your shock mounts.
3. Order shocks that match your range of extension from full stuff to full droop, the ends you need, and the weight of the vehicle the shocks are designed for use with.
