stake pocket
 

On the bed stake pocket, I've seen many trucks where the lower end is extended and curved into the bed. Gives it a clean look. Are those extensions produced by some one or are they custom made?

It's a lot of work to cut reshape the outside and weld it back together I did it on the bed I had on my 48 before the one that is on it now and though I was being cute by removing the bolts at the back to slick it up and welded it up and the welds cracked out way too quick.

Ok, now you guys have me thinking. I may just take an old stake pocket and cut a piece to extend straight down even with the roll pan. Ideas, ideas, ideas !!!
