Separating outer Steering Column

Hello,

I've gotten the steering column disassembled down to the outer housing. How does that separate from the steering shaft? This is the part where the Lock Cylinder fits into. Also has the bearing. I need to separate to install the steering wheel locking pin. The locking pin is missing. I already took out the 4 bolts too.

This is a simple non-tilt, manual trans floor shift column.

I figured out how to do it. I held the out column and lightly tapped the steering shaft with a rubber mallet. came right off.
