Need help id’ing 1985 tilt column small piece

In the process of replacing my turn signal with cruise control stalk…a small v shape metal spring part fell out of the inside of the steering column. Ready to reassemble and cannot figure out where little part goes. Hoping someone can help

Make your pics smaller, then they’ll upload.

Any ideas guys? All help is greatly appreciated. Hoping if I don’t figure it out and reassemble the column and wheel without it that it doesn’t affect key or etc function

I thought for sure someone besides me would know what that part is and where it goes.. It's part of the key buzzer warning switch, It fits in the lock cylinder cavity.. When the ignition switch is OFF and key is left in, this switch activates the warning buzzer.

It can't just fall out when everything is in place.. It fell out at some point during disassembly. It can be left out with no consequences, however, the warning buzzer will not operate.

[EDIT]
Here's a link to a picture of how it looks...

Don't worry, it isn't broken.. It's designed as a 2 piece switch.. Reference the picture in my link, they fit together only 1 way.. The "J" part of the spring hooks on the end of that plastic housing.. The assembly then slides down into that square hole on the housing. The little white "tooth" on the lock cylinder is what activates the metal part of the switch. The "tooth" only makes contact when the lock cylinder is in the OFF position. Open the door and the buzzer sounds. Turning the key to the "LOCK" position turns the buzzer off and the key can be removed.
