'66 Chevelle VIN

Is anyone in here familiar with a stamped VIN somewhere on the cowl of a '66 Chevelle Malibu? A guy I worked with years ago is a big Chevelle guy told me of a stamped VIN under the cowl panel that should match the VIN plate. I haven't seen it yet. Any clues in here?

Thanks bud. FWIW, I had read that thread years ago when it was first posted. I still haven't found an alternate stamping on my car, the reason I tried here. There are some knowledgeable guys in here that have quite a few of the same toys I do. Thanks again.

"Firewall location didn't start until 1967, and Atlanta only for 1967 from research so far."
