66 original battery post side

Working on the 66 C20. I'm going to get a reproduction battery . Not sure why but they offer 3 different positive post locations, front left (engine side) front right (fender side) and right rear (rear passenger side) What was original configuration? 6 CYL

Here is an old picture I saved from the Lambrecht auction that shows a 65 (I think it was) with it's original battery still in place. Looks like it has the positive terminal toward the front right (fender side).
