PWM cooling fan for stock rad shroud
Still working on my 72 LQ9 swap and went looking for a cooling fan. I picked up a brushless fan from a Volvo XC90 that will be controlled by my Holley Term X. This fan if trimmed around the round fan enclosure fits into the 72 C10 factory shroud almost perfectly and will be controlled by Holley. I had to sand the perimeter of the Volvo shroud a little. I haven't figured out posting photos yet but I will keep trying.

Re: PWM cooling fan for stock rad shroud
The way I post pictures with my phone is, I e-mail them to myself.
Then I open the e-mail and save them to my computer. Before I save them to my computer, I crop them just a little and name them so I don't have to remember image 7041. Then I can start my post and use the (paper clip) attachment icon to the right side of the smiles and to the left side of the Undo icon. Then click (choose file) and type / click on the picture you saved. Then hit the upload button. Hope this helps. |

So, the fan is ready, just painted in this photo with trim black. It will dry to a satin finish.

I have a windstar dual fan setup in my 72 K10 6.0LS
My current build is a 68 short stepper 5.3LS stock rad with a grand caravan dual fan. The plastic shroud is a very good fit for the stock rad. just need some trimming with a zip wheel. $30 at the wrecker. |

I used stock fans from an Escalade. No mods whatsoever. Even took the stock relay setup.
