Brothers Truck 1 piece window

I have seen lots of comments about the OPP kit but i bought the Brothers Truck kit and having issues i am hoping to get help with. Yes, everyone can have their opinion about vent windows and one piece and i have read them already...Please dont post that opinion here.

The issue i am having is i can get the front channel close to the door hinge to bolt in. There is a step to replace the lower bolt of the upper hinge and upper bolt of the lower hinge with 3/8 1/2 bolts...supplied didnt even grab threads with a washer provided. So i cut mine down to sit flush within the nut in the door. Issue...track sits on the nut and wont go far enough toward the front of the door to hit holes to bold in....

Anyone solve this yet?

Re: Brothers Truck 1 piece window

I have found you have to ground down the inside door hinge mount then use a flush mount screw from the inside...2 inch 36 grit here we come...That part wasnt in the instructions...

Just out of curiosity what’s the opinion on the OPP kit?
