1965 Chevy K10 Parking Brake Cable Question

1 Attachment(s)
I'm trying to finish my parking brake on my 1965 Chevy K10 Long bed. I need the front cable that hooks to the handle inside the cab. I've found inline tube makes custom cables for the k10 and replied stating it is 80.3 inches long. Does this sound correct? I'm also not sure where the cable is secured to the frame. Can anybody share insight on this? I attached a photo of my brake assembly looking forward towards the motor.

This forums input has helped me with so many questions!

Re: 1965 Chevy K10 Parking Brake Cable Question

I just crawled under my 65 K-10 to look but I am also missing the cable that goes to the handle.

Will be following to see if anyone else can help you and what you find, I would like to get my e-brake going again someday.

Did you replace the 2 cables that go to the rear wheels? I'm pretty sure mine are frozen solid.

What about this one?

Doesn't give a length or help with mounting locations.

Says it will fit both but I thought that the C-10 and K-10 front cable might be different?

They are different. I have one of those cables and it is way to short for what I need.

This is how mine is set up. I had the original cables and sent them down to a place in Florida that built new ones for me.
