Bucket seat frame

Coming up soon on my build, I want to build a frame to be able to install a set of bucket seats in my truck. I want to make something along the lines of this link.

My seats need to be raised a bit so I am thinking about square tubing that will raise them to a comfortable height.

My question is what thickness/gauge tubing would be sturdy enough to serve as a seat frame to bolt my seats. I watched Skinny Gs you tube video and want to make something along those lines.

Skinny G, I don't remember hearing how thick the steel was in your build.

Also, has anyone built their seat belt attachments into the the custom frame? Or basically bolted the bottom bolts of the seat belts to the frame? I am not sure it would be safe to do that, but wanted to see what others may have done. Just want to make sure I build something solid enough that will be safe. The bucket seats I have are basically mid 70's camaro bucket seats.
