Cruise control female end of the plug
1 Attachment(s)
Hello all,
1989v2500, My truck came with cruise control, I removed it. Thought i kept everything and do not remember removing anything from under the dash. That said, anyone have a source for the female socket (truck side) for the 4 wire flat blade male coming from the stalk? I could cut the plug off but the wires ar super thin. I want to use the set/push button and cruise on/off for other features, Like running a relay for LEDs and convertor lock up. Does the truck side of this blade have larger wires that are not so delicate to work with? If not i will cannibalize this thing and move on. If i can find the plug, it will make blinker stalk replacement easier down the road as a plug and play. |
Re: Cruise control female end of the plug
Hello again,
I see a few people looked at the post, i do not think it can be bought aftermarket and my junkyard has no squares. Does anyone know where it plugged in under the dash? have a pic? Thanks in advance |
Re: Cruise control female end of the plug
you can get one out of a jeep xj. they use the same cruise plug and should be easy to find.

Re: Cruise control female end of the plug
It should be at the end of the steering column right at the bottom, It is usually a white plug
