Chrome front and painted rear bumper?
 

Does anyone know if it was possible to have a chrome front bumper and painted bumper on the rear on Blazers from the factory? If so, should be RPO for chrome front, and no mention of the rear on the SPID (would indicate painted bumper). I've seen this frequently on the truck side where only chrome front is listed, and painted step bumper was added at the dealer. Just curious if that was a combo that ever occured on the Blazer side. Thanks.

I grabbed a random info packet from the GM Heritage Center archive ('71 Blazer) and it specifically calls out front and rear painted bumper as standard equipment.

RPO V37 is chromed front and chromed rear bumper.

There is no condition for chrome front/painted rear for Blazer/Suburban.

It may not be factory specs but, I do like the white front and chrome rear on these trucks if they have the white top, it seems to balance the look.
My really nice chrome front bumper for my Burb hangs in the shop rafters.
