Shipper sheet

I found a "shipper" sheet in the glove box of my 86' GMC K2500. It lists all the options on the truck and the destination dealer. This is the first i have ever seen, are they common? (I am not talking about the SPID, this sheet lists more details than that).

No; not super common.

It was supposed to be thrown away or filed during dealer prep, so somebody was not doing their job.

Zoomed and enhanced:

So - looks like we've got a Flint build truck shipped to a dealership in Wisconsin.

An '86 pickup build in Flint? Depending on if it was first shift or second shift my guys might have put the fenders on that one.

;)

Nicely equipped truck - but no spare tire?

No ZYT on the SPID -

XYT = front
YYT = rear
ZYT = spare

Maybe the buyer was planning on a custom set of rims and mud tires and saved a few bucks on a spare that would be quickly replaced?

As a retired IT person, that tractor feed fan fold paper brings back memories. Looks like it came out of a line printer.

I think it was purchased for a factory or to maintain a property. Has a plow and hydraulic dump mechanism under the factory bed. According to maintenance records, it only had 6,000 miles on it in 2006. It only has 23,000 on it currently.
