69 C20 wheel and tire question
 

Gents,

I am working on making a sleeper truck out of a c20. I want to retain a stockish look to it.

The truck currently has 16" ford rims on it but I do have a set of chevy 8 lugs. What is the widest tire I can put on those rims?

I want to retain the ability to run stock hub caps.

Assuming that you will be buying new tires, take your rim measurements to the store and they will tell you.
