Looking for quality replacement mirrors that dont vibrate

Hey folks,

Looking for quality replacement mirrors that aren't going to surface rust or vibrate.

Im looking for a larger mirror aprox 5x7. Not going with the small rounds or the tripod mounts.

Anyone know of some?

I ran something similar to this which still vibrated a lot, but ran a rubber isolated round blind spot mirror inside of it that was very clear.

I have a pair of mirror heads just like in the set above that I'm going to use on the stock arms. I'm sure they will vibrate from wind buffeting.

Check out mike billet mirrors. Very nice mirrors that work!

Those are nice. I didn't know anyone even made a custom arm for the 67-69.

I bought a pair of these from Classic Industries for my base stock arms. They're not stock looking but at least I can see where I've been. They seem like pretty good quality.

Do you have a pair of his mirrors? Which ones did you go with?

Do you get any vibrating while driving?

I replaced the mirrors the mirrors on my Burban with ones from NAPA. I believe the old ones were from LMC. The PO installed them. One of the benefits of the NAPA replacements is much reduced vibrations. Go to post 831 in the link.

In the first photo shows the old mirror on the left and the NAPA one on the right. The one on the left is a pretty common aftermarket mirror.

I would recommend not using the supplied bolt as it will rust up fairly quick. The other thing is the factory mirrors used a 1/4-20 and the NAPA one uses 5/16-18 bolts.

They’re a little big but are somewhat period-correct

Search on eBay for “Roberk mirrors”

There are a lot of old vintage styles that come up.
