Ten Commandments...of Trucks

Ten Commandments...of Trucks
1. Thou shalt not read thy 67-72 Truck Forum on company time, lest thy employer make it impossible to continue thy truck payments.
2. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's truck nor his garage, nor his battery charger.
3. Thou shalt not store thy truck out-of-doors except for the wife's Toyota.
4. Thou shalt not deceive thy wife into thinking that thee is taking her for a romantic Sunday drive when indeed thou art going out to look at another truck.
5. Thou shalt not love thy trucks more than thy wife and children.
6. Thou shalt not despise thy neighbor's Edsel, nor his DeSoto, nor even his '47 Plymouth.
7. Thou shalt not tell thy spouse the entire cost of thy latest restoration, at least not all at the same time.
8. Thou shalt not promise thy wife a new addition for the house and then use it to store trucks.
9. Thou shalt not allow thy sons and daughters to get married during the car show season.
10. Thou shalt not buy thy wife a floor jack for Christmas.

Additional ones to help you stay alive....

Thou shalt not use good towels to clean car parts.
Thou shalt not store used oil on side of thy house.
Thou shalt not add used oil to thy neighbors collection without his permission.
Thou shalt not store car parts in thy living room.
Thou shalt not drain cooling system into thy public drainage system.
thou shalt not buy another project truck when thy's first one is not running yet

I don't remember any of those in the Bible - Except perhaps coveting anything that belongs to your neighbor.

I think you forgot one. Thou shall not clean parts in the kitchen or food service areas.

Right, I got a divorced (32 yrs) not even midway into my restoration. It was awesome, by example I packed a ton of parts in my master bedroom. I thought the benchseat was a real nice touch. Not sure my girlfriend loved the decore though, I don't care
