Car Chemistry two disc insert
 

Anyone use these? I need to quiet down my exhaust on the 68 . Not so much for me but my neighbors. It’s not bad just cruising but I have a very steep incline for about 1/4 mile to get to my house and it’s way too loud when I’m in the throttle . Would rather not put resonators on it not enough room . I figured I could just put them in the tailpipe and I could adjust the sound by adding some SS packing

I tried the vortex cone in my 6X6. It had a turbo that sounded like a police whistle at all rpms. It worked ok.

I have the car chemistry inserts on my 70 GMC that has a pretty stout LS motor in it and they sound great. I also have them on my 99 Suburban. I do not have mufflers on either. If I was to build another car I will use them again.

Thanks for the info . Are you using any packing or just the inserts? I’m planing on using them with the glass packs .
