Can I borrow a few grand??

I just had to share this... Anyone got a few grand laying around I can borrow? :)

Custom 77 C-10

gldevall 01-29-2004 03:12 PM

Bet the reserve is at $15-20K

low 84 01-29-2004 03:25 PM

all that money and they used chasis tech parts to bag it, lol

Low87on20s 01-29-2004 03:25 PM

I am not into long beds, but that one looks good.

bigblock73 01-29-2004 03:33 PM

An air horn?! :barf:

Nice truck though. :)

1974StepSide 01-29-2004 03:37 PM

It is very clean from what I can see in those pics... One thought I had was "Where are the billet gas/brake pedals?" :D

TIMSPEED 01-29-2004 03:40 PM

Yeah..it's not a C10 either! Isn't it a C15/20 if it's a LWB?
EDIT: Huh..now that I look at it more closely..that truck sucks! It's also illegal to drive..here in CA at least..no heater! Also, no chance of it having a heater without quite a bit of work...My question is...how is he so damn low with long tube's?!?

bigblock73 01-29-2004 03:45 PM

C-10 = 1/2 ton
C-20 = 3/4 ton
K-10 = 1/2 ton 4wd
K-20 = 3/4 ton 4wd

C-10 were available in long or short box
C-20 were only available in long box

K-10 were available in long or short box
K-20 is only available in long box I believe

GMC's used the same setup, excet they used 15 & 25 instead of 10 & 20 like Chevrolet.

Wow, I seriously never knew that...:)

TIMSPEED 01-29-2004 04:16 PM

Anyone happen to see this guy's OTHER auctions?!? 72 Pantera 528 Hemi

RockHQ 01-29-2004 05:33 PM

Lol, suddenly the C-10 became the least interesting thing on this thread by far. No worries, i'm still a die hard 73-87 fan.

Russell 01-29-2004 06:06 PM

That ain't no 77, thats an 80... Unless he did a front end swap, thats definitly an 80 C10.

In my opinion, the interior is downright ugly... But the engine and most of the rest of the truck looks pretty nice :)

N2TRUX 01-29-2004 10:09 PM

Now THIS is a Hemi-

I agree, I wasnt too fond of the color or the interior... But with some new paint and some new tweed, it'd be sweet! I've only had my 75 for a few weeks now, and this one has every mod I had envisioned on putting on the Beau... I thought it was sweet!

?? The only thing I owe is $1,800 and some change to the IRS - And whether or not I really owe them is a whole 'nother arguement! :p

Blue Beard 01-29-2004 11:26 PM

Let's be honest, I'm working on my second million and you would be helping out....

First million was to hard to make.........

86SILVERADO 01-30-2004 02:53 AM

You know I do kinda miss the distributor being on the front of the motor.......LOL

1985K10 01-30-2004 08:43 AM

Cool truck, except I would ditch the headlight and grille setup, put the real 77 setup on there, it would look much nicer.
I kinda like lowered longbeds, I have all longbed trucks and parts, this summer If I cant find a 67-69 Camaro Im going to build a 74C10 I have, bags, a nice motor, etc.
