3 Door

I Dunno, but I keep going for that 4th door handle to throw something in the backseat before I get in to drive.

Some say it was cheaper. The factory brochure that I have said it was for safty reasons. That way the passengers had to get out curbside.

Burb 3rd door

It was a step forward from the 1960 - 66 Burbs they only had two doors.
I have the same brochure that says it was for safty reasons.
But when you think about it Chevrolet station wagons like Impala,
Caprice & malibu had 4 doors from 1967- 72.
Burbs went to 4 doors in 1973. So I guess they said to hell with safty.
