Pics Of My 86 Gmc ???????

Trying to post pics of my GMC, but no success.

I have them saved in a Kodak file as a jpeg but have no idea how to get them to this site.

Sorry, this is new to me and I am just stuck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hey, DCRANER -- When you hit Post Reply, there will be a box at the bottom with a button that says Browse beside it, click browse and choose a picture, then hit post reply, and it should post your picture here :)

If you still can't get it, email the picture(s) to me at !Russell@ZieglerDigital.ca! (remove the ! they are just there to throw off email address harvesters) and I will post them here for you

Testing to see if pic shows up.

Save the photos to your hard drive. I suggest in a folder you can remember. First though, make sure they're not too big. If they are the board software won't allow you to post them. Resize them in a photo editing software to around 5x7 inches at a resolution of 72.

This should work.

I did post reply, then browse, then I saw file foe pic. But, do I open it because that is the only option? I just do not get it, I must be missing something very simple.

Russell 02-16-2004 10:13 PM

Yes, choose Open :)

Thank you very much for posting the pics and your kind comments.

Still have to do B&M shifter, exhaust finishing, Billet Steering Wheel, Billet Gauge surround, March Pulleys / Power Steering Pump / Alternator, MSD Ignition, and detail / paint engine compartment, etc.

Truck at paint shop to redo Cowl Hood and some touch ups.

Thanks again.

Thanks all, I still have a lot of work to finish. But, to Swervin, it is slightly lowered, about an inch or two in the front and about 3 inches in the rear.

Well thanks again. I was lucky to find this "rust free" 86 a few years ago, came from Texas.

Once you get started you just seem to keep going, and since I did not have to deal with body work I put the time / money towards trying to do a really nice job.

But, I have boxes of stuff to go on and will take pics as I go.

Thanks.

Well the engine is a GM Raceshop "ZZ430" clone. If you are aware GM produced 430 examples of a killer 350 small block about 6 years ago, very expensive and all came with stamped serial numbers.

So it is a 350 with 430 HP and 430 Lbs. Torque, and once I add the MSD and the Radiator Fans it should be about 450 HP / Tq., I hope.

CRRoy71 02-17-2004 01:09 AM

WOW! That is a super sharp truck. Sure makes me wish I had a 2 wheel drive.

apstguy 02-17-2004 01:25 AM

DUDE! Beautiful! I love your truck!

N2TRUX 02-17-2004 01:26 AM

DCRANER that is a sharp truck. I agree with Swervin about lowering it though. Regardless of what you do that thing looks good. Do us all a favor and get some good quality pics of it outside without all the garage clutter....

Actually, it is slightly lowered, as I was trying to get a little cleaner look without going too far from the stock look.

When back from paint shop next week I will take some full shots outdoors in a good location.

I am looking forward to getting all of the other goodies in the boxes on the truck soon.

By the way,I have a black billet grill to go on but I think I will get a polished one instead. Any thoughts?

Thanks again.

Hey Tyler, thanks for the comments but mine looks like a clone of yours. Your truck looks terrific! I really like the grill. I have a black one in the box but don't think I will use it, I like the look of yours better.

My truck, although a GMC, was also a 305 with 700r4 and a 3.08 rear.

Very cool.

Doug
