Rear End #'s
 

Fellas-
After grinding my new rear end with a wire grinder (OUCH), I exposed the numbers...Do these mean anything to anyone? Does it confirm either 3:08 or 3:73?
The Numbers are : 868968C. Any thoughts??

wrong number,,

you need ot be on the pass side axle tube, theres a stamped in number code, no 3.08 gears in 67-72 btw only 3.07 and 3.73 and a rare 4.11
