1970 Dana 44 front axle shafts

Looking for new axle shafts for my 1970 3/4 ton front axle. Are there any places that might carry them, or maby even the inner axle parts. They are really all I need. They are totally obsolete up here in Canada and I have had no luck so far in sourcing any.
Is it maby possible that any of you know of someone who can recondition the splined ends that go to the spiders?????

Randy's Ring and Pinion should have what you need. Shafts are available in OE replacement and 4340 moly. Then you can upgrade to the 760x joint.

Thanks Crazy Cooter, they got what I am looking for. Its just a start though I now have to find some way to get them shipped and they do not ship International so it's going to get interesting.

Don't you have a Dana/Spicer dealer up near you? You can get stock replacements from them.

Hi Crazy; The story I get from the Dana Spicer people here is that they no longer make parts for the Dana 44 for a 35 year old truck, Sorry !!!! We have a Supplier up here called The Gear Center and they also say the same thing no longer available and in Canada that relates to **** out of luck, So when I got your Info I tried to jump all over it. Just going to have to work around it. Might even have to ask someone like you to help with paper work for exporting if I can't get a board member that lives just over the border. Will keep you posted as to the axle saga.
Thanks MeannGrumpy:burnout:

I own a drivetrain shop. Maybe I could help with this? If it was shipped by mail, would that help things any?

What axles are you looking for? OE? 4340? Warn? Yukon?

Do you have the axles out for measurement? Or have Spicer #'s

You can call me at my shop if you want 530-222-1360

i have a 70 front diff out of a 3/4 ton that i'm swapping over to 73 style axles with discs. i'll sell you the shafts if you still need them. $100.00 plus mail for both sides. for another 50 bucks i'll throw in the spindles, backing plates and hubs {not the locking hubs, the bearing hubs}
