Is there a trick to this?

Hey folks Ive got a problem. Last fall I left my truck outside for a couple days and now Ive got leaves and pine needles in the cowl. They Have not blown down in the corners yet and I was wondering if anybody knows a trick for getting them out short of removing the cowl. If I blow them to one side or the other is there a way to get them out at the bottom somewhere? Any thoughts????? Please and thanks!!!!!!

The leaves get stuck in the plenium and the vent box. Some will blow through the heater and the vent but mostly they just get stuck and you have to clean them out. If you remove the heater blower motor and the vent doors, you can clean them out by vacuuming, using compressed air or digging them out. We have been installing 1/4" mesh hardware screen painted flat black under the cowls and this works well. Some of the vendors sell items for this also.

Get a vacuum cleaner and tape a peice of small hose on the end of the suction hose. Then stick through the slots and vacuum them out.
