I saw this 71-72? GMC Dually Stakebed drive off down the street last Saturday. I checked back around 5 and it was back at this little truck dealer lot. Maybe it's a parts runner. I'll find out more this Saturday and try to get better pics. The place was closed by the time I checked back and those junk yard dogs looked hungry so that's all the closer I got:mad:

I like the 2 tone blue paint.:)

That looks like a 133 inch wheel base...a perfect place for you to set your longhorn bed. ;)

Nice Truck! You were near my Dads house.
Billy

Hey...you were only about 15 miles from my house and you didn't call to offer me a cup of coffee? Geeeee...I might have bought you a cup of coffee?
Hey...It's the thought that counts.

70cst I'll be back!
Billy your dad sure moved far from you:)
Andy I think the bed on this truck is worth more than the truck check it out...
This was across from the fairgrounds. Talked to the owner and it started up and runs good. He's asking $2500 what do you think?

That would make a killer firewood hauler and dump runner ..

Longhorn Man 03-07-2004 01:06 PM

2500 is steep IMO...but that bed isn't a selling point to me either...

longhorn70gmc 03-08-2004 05:15 PM

PIERCE,
My Dad lives near Ludlow falls. I joinded the navy back in 1987 and am still hear. 3 years to go and I can retire and come home. Of course with my GMC in tow. Miss Kings Island and the reds games! Have a good one , Billy :) :gmc:

That doesn't sound to far from me either. I've been eyeing a orange dump like that but I'm not sure what I would ever do with it....lol

70cst 03-08-2004 05:51 PM

Hey longhorn70gmc
I live about 8 miles from Ludlow falls...Boy this world is getting smaller by the minute...
Regards,
70cst

just curious...what's wrong with the bed?

Longhorn Man 03-09-2004 12:38 AM

That is just my opinion...I have no use for a dump truck, which is the main selling point of that truck, at least the main part of the $2500 price tag for a rotted out truck.
Again...JMO.

Canadian694x4 03-09-2004 12:42 AM

no prob...I thought maybe there was sumthin wrong with that style of dump box...I definitely see what your saying tho...nice to have but only if you actually have a use for it really...
