fender emblems

What is the easiest way to remove the fender emblems.

Take the fender off or 2cases of Coors and 2 preachers.

I was really hoping I wouldn't have to take the fender off. But oh well.

If you remove the inner fenders, you can get to the backs of the emblems too. Less re-aligning than the whole fender...

Thanks I got them off. I took the doors off. I got a long boxed end wrench and got to them. It was a challange. But I didn't want to take the fenders off.

Forgive the following "Monday Morning Quarterback":

I would have gone with the inner fenders like bouncy suggested. Unless your doors needed to come off anyway, you may have set yourself up for some agony. Doors are a ***** to get aligned and closing properly.

Go get some beer before you try putting them back on.

inner fender wells

I tried that first. The first two bolts stripped out. So I removed the door. It did take a few minutes to get it to shut right. But If I had continued with the fender wells I think it would have taken me alot longer.
