Dropped my truck finally...
 

...well, at least the front.

I installed new balljoints, Western Chassis 1.5" coils, WC 2.5" spindles, and Doetch Tech shocks.

It rides great now.

I had to "adjust: the banjo fittings at the calipers. I hope it doesn't hurt anything.

Should I install longer brake lines and is there a fitting at the caliper that sits lower?

You shouldn't have to replumb any brake lines or hoses...I didn't on mine.

I had to bend my lines to get everything to fit. I hated to do it, since they were new, but there was no getting around it. It wasn't a problem. I just bent them a little bit at a time until everything fit. It has been okay since December.

Oh, and welcome to the "I didn't get around to lowering the back yet" club. :) I still have not had the time to install my 4" drop leaves on the rear. It doesn't look quite like this:

LoL I had a 4" rake on my 79 for a month or two until I finished dropping the front and rear :D The brake lines are fine, I've had to do that to both of my trucks, no problems.

That looks close to mine as well...

These trucks look so sharp (especially sitting low or high, not so much in between, jk).

Actually, my brake line tore on one of the cotter pins on the upper balljoint, but it was just the rubber outer sheathing...I don't think I will trust it for long.

Now, I ordered a flip kit, changed my mind to a hanger (already have a shackle (not installed)), changed my mind again and ordered the flip kit.

Now I am worried it will be too low. At least with a flip kit I could raise it with shackle, but with a hanger/shackle combo, I can't really go lower (unless I removed some leaves).
