Best kits???
1 Attachment(s)
I recently finished my truck and want to do the suspension right. The previous owner just chopped the front springs and removed leaves from the rear to get it lower.
I want to do it right something like a 4" /5" drop. Who has had good succes and with which components. |
Give ECE a call, I'd say go with spindles/springs in the front, and not sure about the rear (not sure how people drop those, I have a coil truck)...

Your truck sits perfect as is!

Man, I wished I had a 68-72 sometimes... |
My truck has cut coils on the front and rides fine. As far as the rear on the OP's truck, I dont think removing a leaf or two will change the ride that much but may limit payload capacity.
You may want to think about leaving it alone if its all even and spending your cash elsewhere. |
I used Early Classics kit on my 70 and love it. Great folks to work with, honest and fair. They have been doing it the longest and it shows when you talk to them. Great looking truck, too!

I've been running the ECE 4/5.5 Kit for a few years now and have now problem at all. They may be a little more costly but you get what you pay for, great product and service. Nice looking ride

check out www.airbagit.com they have really good prices, but have not ordered anything from them and as 72lowboy had pointed out you pay for what you get. ece seems costly and I would rather just spend the money for an air bag setup, but it is your truck, which is very nice looking.

Dittos on the Early Classics. Fantastic quality on the parts and they promptly answered all questions I had both before and after the purchase.
