Is it the pic, or does some of the teeth look fractured? Might be the gear oil. I dunno. The pattern looks real full on the shiny (non-shadowed) teeth. Almost too full. That lends me to think the pinion depth is shallow. If the shadowed teeth look like this normally, your gears are shot. ¿ A carrier bearing or a axle bearing will give these symptoms.
