That's what they did at the factory. Just cut down truck doors. The factory assembly manual has a diagram on it. It's pretty easy to do. You've got Blazer doors to use as a guide. Cut it a little long and grind it down to exactly where you need it. Also, use the support piece from your existing door as well.
You will need a '72 truck door. The '72 is different than other doors. 72 was the only year that had that recessed dimple under the vent wing window for the screw that holds the vent.
