it's a good tool for relative comparisons, getting an idea of how much gain could be realized from a change. DD tends to be optimistic in my experience, it assumes everything is set up perfectly (ignition, fuel curve, etc.) Also, good cylinder head flow data is essential for accurate results. just like any computer program it's only as good as the data put into it "garbage in, garbage out"
