I did my carpet, ACC Carpet about 5 years ago and when I ordered the kit I was able to request an extra matching section to cover the rear of the cab behind the seat, and tucked it under the rear window rubber strip. This worked very well. I also first did the Dynomat on the floor and the rear of the cab.

I can tell you one of the common places for a leak is above the firewall, just under the wiper area. If you remove the cowl and have someone spray a hose on that area you may find a leak and / or clogged drains. I sealed my area with 50 year outdoor silicone weather caulk, and also shine a drop light at night in that area and look for light coming in the interior area. Sounds like a lot, but easy to do. My 86 GMC is garaged, but can sit in a thunderstorm and is bone dry inside, not a drop.

Good luck.
