If I were to guess I'd say he extended the flange around the rear window for extra surface area, cut a new (and bigger to match the opening) rear window from laminated safety glass (ACARA Glass is pretty good at this. Talk to Darryl) and then masked the black pinch weld primer on tha glass to give a nice border on the glass, then he urethaned it in. If you look close at the top edge of the glass it looks like you can see the line along it's edge where the laminations in the glass are. If I was going to try that that's how I'd do it. Are you still working over at Autocolor?
