I agree with 68w/sbc406. I am not sure that changing the motor towers is going to change engine placement. the solution might be as simple as not running a fan spacer to gain back fan depth in the shroud. If it still pushes the fan too deep you might be able to run a big block shroud which would also allow the use of a bigger fan blade.
