What you get probably varies by where and when it gets done, but I used to have a Cutlass that the previous owners (friend's mom) had painted at Maaco. The paint looked pretty good, but most of it blew off the driver's door when I washed it at a car wash with good water pressure. The paint underneath was still shiny (as in never sanded), and the same color, so it wasn't real noticeable.
